Zuber Magnet & Electronics

Our shop is Zuber Magnet & Electronics, and you can find us at 24/26 in NDSE Part 1. We have a bit of a specialized business here, focusing mostly on different types of magnets and various electronic parts that are hard to find elsewhere. The shop is small and packed from floor to ceiling with little drawers and boxes full of components. It is not the most organized place in the world, but we usually know exactly where everything is located. NDSE Part 1 is a very active area, so there are always people coming in asking for specific bits for their DIY projects or for repairing old gadgets. We spend a lot of time behind the counter testing parts or explaining how a certain magnet might work for a particular use. It is quiet, detailed work, but we enjoy the technical side of it. We don't have any flashy displays or big advertisements, we just have our sign out front and word of mouth from people who have been coming to us for years. Sometimes someone comes in with a strange request for a rare part, and we have to go digging through the back to see if we have it tucked away. It is just a small local shop, nothing corporate about it, and we like it that way. Being in this part of town for so long, we’ve seen many shops come and go, but we just keep doing our thing. Our regulars know we don't mind a bit of a chat about their latest invention or repair.
