Yummy Masala

You can find Yummy Masala right over by Ramlila Maidan. If you know the area, you know how loud and crowded it can get when there are events or festivals happening at the maidan. Our little spot is right in the thick of it. We deal with all our masala orders from this location. It’s not a big corporate office with glass walls or anything. It’s a regular room with shelves and some desks. The sound of people outside is constant but we don't mind it much anymore. Yummy Masala has been operating from here because it’s a central point where people can reach us. We spend our time weighing out spices and bagging things up for the local customers. Sometimes when the weather is bad the ground at Ramlila Maidan gets muddy and it makes getting to us a bit of a challenge. But usually, it’s a lively place to be. We don’t have a fancy mission statement or a team of executives. It’s just us working with the spices and making sure everything is ready. Every day is different depending on what’s happening at the maidan. We might be quiet one day and completely swamped the next. That’s just the way it goes for a small business like ours in this part of town. We like the bustle and being right where the action is every day and seeing the people. It stays interesting for us. The maidan is iconic.
