Yugartha Foundation

We are located on the third floor of House No. 284 in Deep Vihar, Pansali. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it’s where we run Yugartha Foundation from. This office in Block-A is where all the planning happens. We moved into Plot No Old 87B a while back because we wanted to be close to where people actually live. It’s a crowded neighborhood, but that’s why we like it. There’s always something going on outside. We aren't a huge group with a lot of funding, just a few people sharing a small space on Khasra No 30/3. We spend a lot of time talking to the locals and trying to figure out how to make things a bit easier for everyone. Some days we are just filing papers, and other days we are out on the street seeing what’s needed. It isn’t always easy working from a third-floor flat, especially when it’s hot, but we make it work. We try to keep things honest and grounded. We don’t have a fancy reception or anything, just some chairs and a desk where we can listen to whoever walks in. We just want to be a part of the community and do our bit. It’s local work for local people, and that feels like enough for us right now. It is a humble place but we get a lot of work done there every week.
