Small Industries Welfare Association

We've been around in Shahdara for a while now, right here on Subhash Park Street No. 4. Mostly, we just try to help out the folks running smaller shops and little workshops in the area. It gets pretty crowded in this part of Delhi, and sometimes people need a bit of a hand figuring out the paperwork or just having someone to talk to when things get tough with the business. We aren't a big office or anything like that. It is mostly just us sitting in the office, answering phones and trying to keep things moving for the local workers. If you walk down street four, you will see our spot at 1/10842. It is a busy place, but we like it that way. Small business owners have a lot on their plates. They deal with everything from getting materials to making sure the lights stay on. We just provide a space where they can come and share their problems. Maybe we can't solve everything, but we listen. The neighborhood has changed a lot over the years, but the small industries are still the heart of it. We just do what we can to make sure they don't get overlooked. It isn't fancy work, but it feels right to be part of the community here in Shahdara. People know where to find us if they need something, even if it is just a bit of advice on a Tuesday afternoon. We keep the kettle on for visitors.
