Working out of J. P. House in Shahpur Jat has its own rhythm. Our office is at number 118, which is easy enough to find once you get into the main lane. It’s a busy area with a lot of creative energy around, but we mostly stay tucked inside doing our consulting work. The space isn’t huge, just enough for the team to sit comfortably and get through the day's tasks. We’ve been here for some time now and the walls are covered with notes and calendars that we actually use. There’s a tea stall just a few steps away where we usually go when we need a break from the screens. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, especially in the afternoons, but you get used to it after a week or two. We don't have those fancy glass partitions or big logos on the wall. It’s more about the desks and the computers where the actual work happens. Most of us live nearby or take the metro, so we're part of the daily crowd here. It’s a plain, honest place to earn a living. We keep our files organized in old metal cabinets and there's always a stack of papers waiting to be sorted. It’s not a polished corporate office you’d see in a magazine, but it works for us and we know where everything is.
