Jacobs Engg India Ltd

Our office is right across from Tagore International School in Amar Colony. We’re on the second floor of building E 200. Being in Lajpat Nagar 4 means there’s always a lot of activity, especially when school lets out and the kids are everywhere. It’s a decent area with plenty of places to grab a quick lunch nearby. We’ve been in this specific spot for a good while. The stairs up to the second floor can be a bit of a workout if the lift is acting up, which happens now and then. Inside, the layout is pretty basic. We have a main area where most of us sit and a smaller side room for meetings. It’s not a corporate showroom. It’s just where the team at Jacobs Engg India Ltd gets things done. There are plants on the windowsills that someone forgets to water occasionally. We keep a stack of newspapers in the corner for the morning break. The internet can be temperamental when it rains, but we manage. Most of our work involves a lot of coordination and checking lists. We don’t spend much time on fancy presentations or anything like that. It’s more about getting the numbers right and finishing the tasks for the day. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of office life here.
