If you look for Wirtgen India Pvt Ltd, you will find us in the International Track Tower over in Nehru Place. We are on the fifth floor, specifically rooms 514 and 515. Nehru Place is always a bit of a chaotic mess with so many people and computers everywhere, but once you get up into the tower, it quietens down just a little bit. The elevators are usually packed during the lunch hour, so we try to time our breaks differently. The office has a lot of windows that look out over the city, though we mostly keep the blinds down to stop the glare on our computer screens. It’s a professional enough space, but we still have our piles of folders and half-empty coffee cups scattered around. We spend a lot of time on the phone or typing away. Sometimes the internet acts up, and we all just sit there for a second waiting for it to come back. It’s a typical Delhi office life. We know the security guys at the front gate and the guy who sells snacks outside the building entrance. The air inside is mostly recycled, and we keep the temperature pretty low. It feels like a small world of its own up here on the fifth floor. We aren't doing anything flashy, just making sure the daily tasks are handled before the commute home begins. Sometimes we stay late when the traffic is too bad to face right away.
