Asaf Ali Road is a pretty famous place to have an office, and we’re at 4/23. If you’ve been to this part of Delhi, you know how packed it gets. There’s barely any place to park, and the buildings have that old, historic feel to them. Our office is tucked in there, and it’s been the center of our concrete pumping business for a long time. The walls are covered with old photos and calendars. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the desks and spare parts lying around. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with sites across the city. The noise from the street is constant—horns, people shouting, the usual Delhi chaos. We don't have a modern glass-and-steel office; it’s more about old wooden furniture and stacks of paper. The tea man comes by a few times a day, which is the highlight for most of us. We deal with heavy machinery, so the talk in the office is usually about pressure settings and pipe maintenance. It’s a gritty kind of business, not something you do in a suit. We like the history of this road even if it’s a headache to get here sometimes. It feels like we are in the heart of things. We just keep the machines running and the orders moving. It’s what we’ve always done, and the location just feels right for the way we work.
