Web University

You can find Web University over in South Extension Part II, right on the Ring Road. Being on the Ring Road means it’s always busy outside, with cars and buses zooming past at all hours. Our space is located in one of the buildings there. It’s not a campus with a big grassy field or anything like that. It’s more of a practical urban setup where we have our classrooms and computers. We teach people about the web and how things work online. We don't have any of those corporate slogans about being the future of education. We just show people how to code or design things. The rooms are plain, with desks and good internet, which is really all you need for this kind of work. We get all sorts of people coming in, from young kids to adults looking to learn something new. The staff here are just regular people who happen to know a lot about technology. We don't wear suits or follow a strict corporate code. It’s a relaxed place where the focus is on getting the work done. South Ex is a great place to be because there are plenty of places to eat nearby when we take a break. Sometimes the traffic makes it hard for people to get here on time, but we just start when everyone arrives. It’s a very direct way of doing things, without any of the extra fluff you find elsewhere.
