Voltas Material Handling Pvt. Ltd is situated over at Plot No-A-43 in the Mohan Co Op. Industrial Estate. This part of Mathura Road is always busy with trucks and big vehicles moving in and out. Our building is a bit older, but it serves the purpose for what we do here. We deal with a lot of heavy lifting equipment, so the floor is reinforced and there is a lot of metal everywhere. Most days are spent looking at inventory lists or talking to technicians who are out on site. It gets quite dusty because of the construction work always happening nearby on the main road. We have a small corner where we keep the kettle for coffee, and that is where most of the talk happens during breaks. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find polished floors or fancy art. It’s a working industrial site. We handle the logistical side of moving big things for other companies. The staff here has been around for a while, and we all just kind of know our roles. Sometimes the computers act up, or the rain leaks through the side door if it’s heavy enough, but we just manage. It’s practical work for people who don't mind getting their shoes a bit dirty. We are just one of many businesses in this estate trying to keep up with the daily demands of the industry without making things too complicated for ourselves.
