Vishweshraiya College

Vishweshraiya College is tucked away in Sector-7 Dwarka, right on Street No.1 near where the old Planet M used to be. If you've lived in Delhi for a while, you know how crowded things can get, so being at G-55 and 56 gives us just enough space to breathe. We aren't one of those massive universities with thousands of acres. We are a smaller college, and honestly, we prefer it that way. You get to know the students' faces after a week or two. The staff here is mostly people who have been teaching for a long time. We spend a lot of time in the office drinking tea and talking about how to fix the air conditioning or dealing with the paperwork that the city requires. It’s not a glamorous life, but it works. The classrooms are simple, with enough chairs and boards for everyone. We see students coming in from all over Dwarka and even from across Delhi on the metro. They usually look pretty tired by the time they get here, so we try not to make things harder than they need to be. We just focus on the subjects and try to get through the syllabus before the exams start. It’s a practical place for people who just want to get their degree and move on to their next step in life. There is no nonsense here, just classes and studying.
