Gyan Adhikaar

Operating out of New Delhi means we’re always in the thick of things at Gyan Adhikaar. We don’t have a specific landmark address listed, just the city itself, but our daily life is very much tied to the pace of the capital. We work out of a modest room that serves as our main hub. There are books everywhere and several laptops that seem to be permanently plugged in. It’s a bit of a cramped space, but we make it work. The team is small, and we mostly spend our time researching or writing. You can hear the traffic from the street outside no matter what time it is. It’s the kind of place where people drop by without calling first, and we usually have to move a stack of papers so they can find a place to sit. We don’t follow a strict corporate schedule; sometimes we start late and work well into the evening when it’s cooler. There’s no fancy water cooler, just a clay pot in the corner and some mismatched mugs. We spend a lot of time discussing ideas, sometimes getting a bit loud when we disagree. New Delhi is a tough city to navigate, but it gives us a lot of energy to keep going. We just keep our heads down and focus on whatever project is currently on the desk. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the day, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
