Vimal Shah & Associates

Our office is over in Laxmi Nagar, specifically at Plot No 801 in the Vikasdeep building. It's right on Vikas Marg, so you can imagine the constant noise from the traffic and the horns outside. We've been operating here for quite some time now, surrounded by stacks of files and desks that always seem a little bit cluttered no matter how much we tidy up at the end of the week. It’s mostly Vimal and a few of us handling the day-to-day work that comes in. The elevator in the building can be a bit slow or moody, so we usually just end up taking the stairs if we aren't carrying too many heavy folders. We deal with a lot of paperwork and people coming in and out throughout the day. Sometimes the tea runs out before lunch, and someone has to run down the street to the stall to get more for the office staff. It’s a plain space, nothing like those big shiny corporate offices you see in the movies or on television. We have some old metal filing cabinets that make a loud squeak every time you open them to find a record. Most of our days are spent looking at documents and talking to clients who drop by with questions. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is a relief when the heat builds up on Vikas Marg. We don’t have any fancy signs or anything like that. Just a group of people working together in this little corner of the city.
