We are based out of F-172 in Laxmi Nagar, right here in New Delhi. The office is usually busy with files and ledgers all over the place. Sandeep handles a lot of the emails at that Yahoo address we’ve used forever. Being in 110092 means we see a lot of local business owners coming through the door. It’s a tight space, but it works for what we do at Umesh Chand & Co. We aren't the type to wear suits every single day unless there's a big meeting. Mostly, it’s just us sitting at our desks and going through numbers. Laxmi Nagar is a crowded place, and finding our building can be a bit tricky the first time, but most locals know the lane. We’ve had the same phone number for a long time, so people just call the mobile when they have a quick question. We don't have a big reception area or fancy coffee machines. We just have chairs for visitors and plenty of pens that always seem to go missing. It's an honest living. We help out with taxes and the usual accounting stuff that keeps people up at night. The work is steady, and we like the rhythm of the tax seasons even when it gets stressful. Sometimes we stay late when deadlines are close, but we always make sure the light is on for anyone who needs us. It's just how we run things here.
