Vikram Verseas Pvt Ltd is located over in Dilshad Garden, specifically at B-33, S-2. This part of Delhi-95 is always buzzing with some kind of activity. Our office isn't very large, just a couple of rooms where we keep the desks and some filing cabinets. The stairs leading up to the second floor are a bit narrow and steep, so you have to be careful when you’re carrying things. We spend a lot of time on the phones or checking emails. It can get a bit stuffy in the afternoons, so we usually have the windows open, even if the noise from the street makes it hard to hear sometimes. There’s a small balcony where we go to get some air or have a quick smoke. You can see the rooftops of the other buildings in Dilshad Garden from there. The furniture is a bit mismatched, gathered over the years as we needed more space. We don’t really worry about the decor or having a fancy entrance. As long as the internet is working and the tea is hot, we are doing alright. Sometimes the courier guys get lost trying to find B-33, so we have to go down to the street to wave them over. It’s just a normal day-to-day life for us here. We keep things moving and try not to let the paperwork pile up too high on the desks.
