Vij India Plastics

At No. 34 in Manohar Park, things are usually moving pretty fast from the time we open up. Vij India Plastics is tucked away in this part of Punjabi Bagh East, and the street outside can get quite narrow when the delivery trucks try to squeeze through. We have piles of plastic goods stacked up against the walls, sometimes reaching almost to the ceiling. It’s a lot of plastic, honestly. The sun hits the front of the building in the afternoon, making it quite warm inside while we sort through the different batches. Most of our day is spent checking the counts and making sure the right bags are ready for the morning. It’s not a quiet place because there is always someone dragging a pallet or taping up a box. The neighbors know us by the sound of the shutters going up early. We don't have much of a lobby or anything like that, just a desk with a lot of papers and the warehouse space in the back. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit mixed up, so we spend the weekends straightening things out on the racks. It’s just a regular local spot where we deal with what’s in front of us. The tea shop at the corner is where we usually end up talking about the day's work. It’s a simple setup at Manohar Park, but it keeps us busy enough from Monday to Saturday.
