Vedhyam Foundation

You can find us at Flat No-742 in the GH-5/7 block of Paschim Vihar. It’s a typical residential flat that we use for Vedhyam Foundation. Being in Paschim Vihar means we are right in the middle of a very busy part of Delhi. The flat is on one of the upper floors, so we get a bit of a breeze, which is nice in the summer. We don't have a big corporate office with a lobby or anything like that. You just ring the doorbell and someone will let you in. The living room has been converted into our main workspace. There are wires running along the floor for the computers and stacks of papers on most surfaces. It’s not the most organized place, but we manage to get our work done. We are just a few people who decided to start this foundation. We don’t have fancy titles or a board of directors. We just talk about what needs to be done each morning and then we do it. The neighborhood is full of families, so it’s usually pretty noisy with kids playing outside in the evenings. We like the energy of the place. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon to take a break. It’s a very informal atmosphere. We don’t really care about being polished or looking professional in the traditional sense. We just want to be practical and honest in what we do from this little flat every day.
