Our office is over in the Civil Wing at the Gurgaon H.O. It’s a busy place with people coming and going for all sorts of legal or administrative things. We spend most of our time at our desks dealing with files and making sure everything is filled out right. It’s not the most exciting work, but it needs doing. The building gets pretty loud during the day, especially with all the activity around the head office. We’ve been set up here for a good amount of time now. Usually, someone is making tea or sorting through a stack of papers that arrived in the morning mail. Gurgaon is always growing, so there is always something new happening outside the window, like more buildings going up or roads being fixed. We mostly deal with people who have specific paperwork to finish or need some advice on how to handle a certain process. It’s straightforward work. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Just some desks, computers, and a lot of cabinets for all the records we have to keep. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot of filing to catch up on. It’s just us doing our jobs day by day. People know where to find us when they need help with their associates' matters. It’s a practical setup, nothing more, nothing less. We just keep things moving as best as we can. The overhead lights flicker sometimes but we just work through it because there is a lot to do.
