Vasuratna Jewels is on the third floor of D-24. We’ve been here for a while now. It’s not a fancy place, just a workspace where we get things done. You have to walk up or use the lift to find us. Most days it’s quiet, and we just focus on the jewelry pieces on our desks. We don't have a big sign outside. People usually find us because they’ve heard about us from others in the trade. The light is pretty good in the mornings, which makes the fine work easier to see. We handle the usual stuff, like small repairs or checking stones. It’s a job that requires a lot of sitting and looking at tiny details. The noise from the street below can be loud, but we’re used to it by now. We keep the area tidy, though there’s always some dust from the metals we work with. We don’t talk much during the day, just get on with the tasks. Some days are long when there’s a lot to finish before we go home. We open up early and stay until the work is sorted. It’s not some big corporate setup, just a practical place for our trade. People drop by now and then to check on their items. We try to be helpful without making a big fuss about things. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, day in and day out, in this small office space. We like the routine of it and just keep moving forward.
