Crystal Collections

Our place is tucked away in Khirki Extension, which is part of Malviya Nagar. The address is E13/30, and if you are looking for it, you have to navigate those narrow lanes that always seem to be full of parked bikes and people moving around. It is a lively neighborhood, for sure. Inside, we have our collections of crystals and various items stacked on metal shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. It is a bit of a maze sometimes. We don't have a big sign or a glass front like the shops in the main market. Most of our day is spent sorting through crates and making sure everything is where it should be. The floors are concrete and the lighting is just basic fluorescent tubes. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing down notes in big ledgers. When the sun hits the street outside, the dust flies around, and we usually keep the door half-shut to stay cool. It is a simple setup we have here. There is always a stack of empty cardboard boxes in the corner waiting to be filled. We know the neighbors well and often chat with the shopkeeper next door when things are slow. It is just how things are in this part of Delhi. We stay busy with the stock and try to keep things moving.
