Vashisth Clinic

Our clinic, Vashisth Clinic, is located at wz837 in the Naraina area of Delhi. We are right by the Sima Sabzi Mandi, so things are very hectic around here. Every morning, the sound of the vegetable sellers and the crowds of people buying food fills the air. It is a busy spot to have a clinic, but it means everyone knows where we are. The space inside is small and we have to keep everything tucked into corners to make room for the patients. We have a few cabinets for medicines and a small area where people can sit and wait. It is often quite loud because of the market right outside the door, but we have gotten used to it over the years. People from the Naraina neighborhood stop in while they are doing their grocery shopping. We mostly handle small things like fevers or minor aches. The building is older and has that lived-in feel to it. I spend a lot of time organizing the files and making sure we have enough supplies for the week. It is a very down-to-earth place where we do not worry about looking corporate. We just focus on seeing the people who walk in from the mandi. The floor is often a bit dirty from all the foot traffic, but we clean it whenever there is a break. It is a real local Naraina spot.
