You can find us at No. 65 Shardhanand Marg, which most people just call G. B. Road. It’s one of the most crowded and old parts of the city. Being at Triveni Needles means dealing with the constant roar of rickshaws, carts, and people shouting right outside our door. The building itself is old, with those high ceilings and narrow stairs that you only find in this part of Delhi. We occupy a space that’s packed with inventory from floor to ceiling. There’s a distinct smell of old paper and maybe a bit of metal in the air. We don't have much room for a lounge, so we usually just eat our lunch at our desks. The light from the street doesn't really reach the back of the shop, so it's always a bit dim unless we have all the tubes on. It’s a busy place, and we’re constantly answering the phone or talking to customers who walk in off the street looking for specific types of needles. It can get pretty chaotic during the peak hours, and the heat in this part of town is no joke. We just keep the fans running and try to stay on top of the orders. There’s a lot of history in these streets, and we’ve been a part of it for a long time. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do, and we do it every day. The evening tea is the best part of the shift.
