Mitu Creation

Mitu Creation is tucked away in Vasant Kunj at B-9/6233. It’s a residential-feeling area, so it’s usually pretty quiet around here until we get busy with a new project. We do a lot of creative work involving different fabrics and designs. The space is often filled with rolls of cloth, sharp scissors, and thread everywhere you look. It might look a bit messy to an outsider, but we know where everything is kept. We started this because we liked making things by hand and seeing a project through to the end. It’s not a factory; it’s more like a workshop where we spend our hours cutting and sewing. Sometimes the sewing machines get a bit loud, but we’re used to it by now. We don't put out a lot of advertisements in the papers. People usually find us because someone they know told them about the work we do. We like the personal touch of meeting people and discussing what they want in person. Vasant Kunj is a nice place to work from. There’s a lot of light in the office during the morning hours, which really helps with the fine details of the stitching. We aren't a big brand you’ll see in every mall. We’re just a small group of people who enjoy the process of creating something from scratch. Each day is a bit different depending on what orders come in. We just keep our heads down and keep working on the next piece.
