Hara Design

You can find us tucked away in New Ashok Nagar, not too far from Dharamshila Hospital. It’s a crowded neighborhood, and finding a parking spot can be a real headache some days. Our office at Hara Design is where we spend most of our waking hours. It’s not a huge space, but it’s filled with computers, sketches, and a lot of coffee cups. We do a lot of design work, which means we’re often staring at screens until our eyes get tired. Being near the hospital—and I mean really close, it's the main landmark people use twice to find us—means there’s always a lot of activity on the street outside, sirens and people rushing about. We’ve been in this spot for a bit, and we’ve gotten to know the tea stall guy nearby pretty well. The walls inside are covered with old projects and notes we’ve scribbled to ourselves. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby; you usually just walk in and find someone at a desk. We try to keep things relaxed because design is hard enough without being stiff about it. Sometimes we hit a creative block and just end up talking about life for an hour before getting back to work. It’s a small operation, just a few of us trying to make things look good on paper or on a screen. It’s a bit messy and loud, but it’s our space and we like it that way.
