Gecko Animation Studio

You can find us on the second floor of E-18 in South Extension Part-I. It's a creative little space where we do animation. It’s not a huge studio with hundreds of artists. We have a few computers and drawing tablets scattered around. The walls are covered in sketches and notes from old projects. Sometimes the office is a mess with coffee cups and papers everywhere, especially when we are close to a deadline. We spend our days making characters move on a screen. It’s a lot of sitting and clicking. We’ve been in this part of Delhi for a while. South Ex is always busy, so there’s a lot of noise from the street outside, but we don't mind it much. We work with all kinds of people who need a bit of animation for their videos. We don't have any big corporate rules here. We just show up, do our drawing, and try to make things look right. Some days the ideas come easy, and other days we just stare at the screen for hours. We are just a small group of people who like drawing and making cartoons. It’s a fun job most of the time, even if it gets stressful. We don't pretend to be some big Hollywood studio. We’re just local artists doing what we can in a small second-floor office. We usually have some music playing while we work to keep the energy up.
