We set up V M Dhingra& Co inside Neelgiri Apartments quite some time ago. Working out of Dwarka is nice because it feels a bit more like a community than the main city center. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a regular space where we keep our ledgers and computers. We spend a lot of time looking at spreadsheets and making sure the math adds up. Sometimes the printer jams right when we need it, which is annoying, but that's just how it goes. We handle the accounting stuff for people around here and some from further out too. It’s mostly just us keeping our heads down and staying on top of the latest rules. New Delhi can be a hectic place, but once you step into the apartment complex, things settle down a bit. We don't have a big reception desk or a bunch of assistants. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just answers it. We drink a lot of tea while we work through the piles of paperwork. Dealing with taxes is never fun for anyone, so we just try to get through it without too much fuss. It’s a straightforward operation here. No big speeches or fancy décor, just a desk, a chair, and a lot of calculators. We've been at this for a while and we're used to the rhythm of the tax seasons.
