V Devi Foundation

We are based in Amrit Vihar, specifically Gali No. 2. It’s a residential block, C Block to be exact. Burari is a crowded place but it has a real community feel. V Devi Foundation started here because this is where we live. Our office is at C-335. It’s a typical Delhi street, narrow and full of life. Sometimes delivery bikes struggle to get through the lane, but that's just part of living in this area. We don't have a big staff. It's mostly just family and a few neighbors who help out. We do what we can with what we have. It’s not a fancy foundation with a big budget. We focus on the local things that matter to the people on our street and the blocks nearby. The weather in Burari gets really hot in the summer, so our office can get a bit stuffy, but we keep the windows open. People drop by without calling sometimes, which is fine. We handle various tasks every day. Some days are slow, while others feel like we can't keep up with the messages. We don't use big words or have long meetings. We just look at what needs to be done and try to finish it by evening. The address is easy to find if you know Amrit Vihar. We've been at C-335 for a long time now. It’s just a plain house turned into a workspace where we get things done.
