Ujjawal Jha Foundation

Ujjawal Jha Foundation is located at House No. B-28 in Jaitpur Extn. Part 1, over in Badarpur. It’s near the main Badarpur area, so it’s easy enough to find if you know the local landmarks. We started this foundation out of a house. It’s a very local thing for us. We live around here and we know the struggles people face every day. We aren't a big institution with lots of staff and fancy computers. It’s mostly just us and a few volunteers who show up when they have time. The office is just a room with a couple of desks and some old chairs. It’s nothing special to look at, but we do good work here. We spend a lot of time talking to the neighbors and seeing what’s needed in the community. Sometimes it’s small stuff like filling out forms, sometimes it’s bigger. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person to tell our story. We just rely on word of mouth from people we’ve helped. It gets pretty hot in the summer and the traffic outside can be a lot to deal with. But we like being right in the middle of things where the people are. It’s an honest effort to help out. We’ve been at this address for a while and we’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years. We just want to be a part of making it a better place for everyone. It's simple work.
