You can find us at 3C/5 on New Rohtak Road. We are quite close to Liberty Cinema, which is how most people find their way here. Karol Bagh is always a bit chaotic with the traffic and the shops, and our building is right in the middle of it. Uc Mas India is where we do all the mental math and abacus training. The rooms are full of those little bead frames and posters on the walls with numbers. Kids come in after school and you can hear the clicking of the beads as they work through their exercises. It’s a very specific sound. We have a few rows of benches and some whiteboards that are usually covered in calculations. It’s not a corporate office with leather chairs. It’s more of a functional space where children learn to count and calculate. The staff here is mostly busy with grading papers or showing a child how to move their fingers correctly. It gets quite loud when the classes change over and everyone is moving around in the hallways. We have a small area for parents to sit, but it’s usually pretty cramped. We just focus on the lessons and making sure the kids understand the steps. It’s a lot of repetition and practice, day after day. We’ve been here in this part of Karol Bagh for a while now.
