Tmg People Welfare Foundation

We set up Tmg People Welfare Foundation here in Dwarka Sec-13. It's on the 3rd floor of Plot-94. It's just a small group of us really. We saw things in the neighborhood that needed fixing so we started this. It's not fancy. The office gets some good light in the afternoons. Most days we are just busy talking to folks who walk in or calling around to see who needs help. Living in South West Delhi, you see a lot of different situations. Sometimes it feels like too much to handle but we just take it one day at a time. The stairs to the 3rd floor are a bit of a climb but we're used to it now. We don't have a huge team, just local people trying to do something useful. It’s hard work and the paperwork is a headache. But being right here in Pkt-10 makes it easy for people to find us. We've been at this address for a bit now. We try to stay organized but it's usually pretty busy with people coming and going. The foundation is basically our way of giving back to the community without making a big fuss about it. We just want things to be a bit better for everyone around here. It's quiet mostly, except for the traffic noise outside. If you’re near Dwarka, you’ve probably seen the building. We just do what we can with what we have. It is an honest living.
