Titu General Store

We are right on Nangal Raya Main Road, at Wz 1596 B. It’s a general store, so we have a bit of everything piled up. From soap and lentils to snacks and notebooks for school kids. The shelves go all the way to the ceiling, so I have to use a wooden ladder to reach the top items. It gets quite busy in the mornings when people are buying things for breakfast. I’ve lived in Nangal Raya my whole life, so I know most of the customers by name. We don't have a computerized billing system or anything. I just write things down in a big ledger and use a small calculator. The floor is old stone and stays cool even when it’s hot outside. We have big jars of candy right at the front for the children. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the road when they bring new sacks of rice. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes but we manage. My son helps out after his college classes are done. We stay open late because people often realize they forgot milk or matches at the last minute. The fan above the counter makes a clicking sound but it keeps the flies away. It’s just a neighborhood shop where you can get your daily needs without any fuss.
