Indian Air Force Canteen

We are the canteen at Subroto Park, specifically K-9S in the Civil Zone. It’s a busy place every single day. We serve the people who work here and their families. It’s a lot of stocking shelves and checking IDs. We have everything from groceries to household stuff. The building is simple and functional. It’s not a shopping mall. We just try to keep the basics in stock. Sometimes the milk delivery is late, or we run out of a certain brand of soap. We just put out what we have. The lines can get long on the weekends. We work hard to keep it moving. Subroto Park is a big area, but everyone knows the K-9S spot. We’ve been here for a long time. The staff is just regular folks. We wear our uniforms and do the job. It’s mostly about helping people get what they need for their homes. We don’t do any advertising. People just know where we are. We keep the floors swept and the shelves as neat as possible. It’s a lot of lifting boxes. We don't have a website or anything like that. Just the canteen here in the Civil Zone. It’s a steady pace from morning till we close. We help unload the trucks and then we help the customers. It’s a full day of work and we are proud to be here doing this for the community.
