Tisco Engineering

We set up Tisco Engineering here in Delhi quite some time back. It's mostly about getting the metal work done and handling the machines every day. The workshop gets pretty loud once we start the engines and the cutting tools. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, you’ll see oil stains on the floor and scraps of metal in the corners. We do a lot of different jobs depending on what people bring in. Sometimes it’s a big part for a factory and other times it’s just something small that needs fixing. We have a couple of guys who have been with us for years. They know the machines better than anyone. We don’t really do much advertising or anything like that. Most people just find us because they heard from someone else. It's hard work, especially when it gets hot in the summer, but we get it done. The tools are old but they still work fine if you treat them right. We spend a lot of time measuring things twice to make sure they fit. Sometimes we stay late if a job is taking longer than we thought it would. That's just how the engineering business goes. We like the challenge of figuring out how to make a part work. It’s a simple setup, nothing too complicated about how we run things here.
