A. H. Hydraulic & Engg. Works

We have been running A. H. Hydraulic & Engg. Works out of the back side of C-177 in Naraina Industrial Area Phase-I for quite some time now. If you know this part of Delhi, you know how busy it gets with all the trucks and workshops packed together. Our space is usually a bit of a mess with hydraulic parts, metal scraps, and oil containers sitting around, but that is just how a real workshop looks when people are actually working. Most days start early with the sound of machines starting up and the smell of grease. We spend a lot of time looking at cylinders and seals, trying to figure out why something stopped moving or why it is leaking all over the floor. It is dusty and loud here, especially in the afternoons when everyone in the block is in full swing. The guys in the shop have been doing this for years, so they don't talk much, they just get on with the welding or the lathe work. We don't have a fancy front office or anything like that. People usually just find us by the sign or by asking around the industrial area. It’s hard work and your hands are always black by the end of the shift, but it’s what we do. We just focus on getting the hydraulic bits fixed so the machines can go back to wherever they came from and start working again.
