The Cours

The Cours is tucked away at 89-A in the I.P.G.C.L Staff Colony. It’s right there in Vidyut Vihar near the Ring Road. New Delhi - 14 is a pretty familiar area for anyone who lives around here. The office itself isn’t anything too big or flashy. We spend most of our time sitting at the desks, looking out at the colony grounds. Since it’s a staff colony, it feels a bit quieter than the main road, though you can still hear the hum of the Ring Road traffic if you listen close enough. There’s usually a bit of dust on the windows because of the construction nearby, but we try to keep things tidy inside. We have some old chairs that have seen better days and a few plants that someone forgets to water every now and then. The Cours is just where we come to do our daily work. There isn’t a big sign out front or anything, so you have to know where you’re going to find us. Usually, someone is making a cup of chai in the back room around mid-morning. It’s a simple setup with a lot of folders and a couple of computers that sometimes take forever to start up. We like the location because it’s easy to get to, even if the Ring Road is a mess during rush hour. It’s just a normal place where a few people work together to get things finished before the day ends.
