We’re over in South Patel Nagar Market, in a flat in the C block. It’s a busy area of Delhi, always full of people and noise from the market outside. The Teacher Institute For Film Tv Arts isn't some big movie studio with a red carpet. It’s just a flat where we’ve set up some space to talk about films and television. It’s a bit tight sometimes when everyone shows up at once. You can hear the market vendors shouting and the cars honking while we’re inside trying to focus on our work. It’s a very real environment. People come here because they want to learn the craft, not because they want a fancy certificate. We drink a lot of tea and spend long hours talking about scenes and lighting. Being in Patel Nagar means we’re right in the middle of everything. It’s convenient but chaotic. We like it that way. It keeps us grounded. We’re not some corporate entity. We’re just a group of people who know about film and TV and want to share that. The walls have posters and notes tacked up everywhere. It’s a working space, plain and simple. If you’re looking for polish, you won’t find it here, but you will find people who actually work in the industry every day.
