Tattoos Tribal

So, Tattoos Tribal has been here in New Delhi for a while now. I started this place because I liked drawing and then I got into ink. It’s a small shop, nothing fancy, just a few chairs and the equipment we use every day. Most mornings I get here early to clean up and get the needles ready before the first person shows up. Sometimes it’s busy and other days it’s just me sitting around sketching new ideas on paper. People come in from all over the city, some want big pieces on their backs and others just want a small name on their wrist. I try to listen to what they want and just do the work as best as I can. It gets loud sometimes with the machines running and the music playing in the background. My hands usually have some ink on them by the end of the shift. We’ve had all sorts of folks walk through the door, from kids getting their first one to older people who finally decided to try it out. The New Delhi heat can be a bit much in the summer but the shop stays okay with the fan going. I don’t really have a big speech about what we do. We just do tattoos and try to make sure everything is clean and looks right when the person walks out the door. That’s pretty much how we spend our days here in the city.
