Our small office is at D-250 in Manglapuri Gaon, right in the Palam area. If you’ve ever been to this part of Delhi, you know how tight the streets can be and how there is always some kind of construction going on. We do our engineering work from here, mostly focusing on the technical planning and coordination. It is a bit of a crowded neighborhood, but it’s convenient for getting around. The office itself is nothing special to look at, just a room filled with desks, some old filing cabinets, and a lot of rolled-up blueprints. We spend a lot of time on our laptops and talking to vendors on the phone. The noise from the nearby airport can be a bit much when the planes are taking off, but after a few weeks, you just stop hearing it. We are a small group and we all know our roles pretty well. There’s no formal dress code here; we just wear what’s comfortable for a long day of work. We usually grab lunch from one of the local spots nearby, which is one of the perks of being in Manglapuri. It’s a busy environment and things can get stressful when a project deadline is coming up fast. But we just keep our heads down and work through the list of tasks. It is just a regular engineering office trying to keep up with the daily grind in a very busy city.
