You’ll find us at B-50 in Okhla Industrial Area Phase-1. This part of town is all about industry. There are trucks everywhere and the sound of machinery is pretty much constant. We make and sell thermometers. It’s a very specific thing to do, but it keeps us quite busy. We have all sorts of thermometers, from the little ones people keep in their medicine cabinets to big ones used in factories for monitoring heat. The building is a typical industrial shed style, mostly functional with concrete floors and high ceilings. It gets pretty loud when we are moving crates around. We have a small area partitioned off for the office stuff, but most of the space is for the stock. We’ve been here in Okhla for years, and we’ve seen the area change quite a bit. It’s a hard-working place. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some calendars and maybe a few posters about safety. Most of our day is spent checking the accuracy of the instruments and packing them up for delivery. It’s honest work and it’s what we know how to do. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so we have to be careful with the glass. We just keep our heads down and get the job done. It’s not glamorous, but these thermometers are important for a lot of different businesses around the city.
