Surya Powder Coating

Surya Powder Coating is tucked away in Gali No-4 at Plot No-A/1. This is in Anand Parbat, which is right near the main industrial area. If you’ve ever been to Anand Parbat, you know it’s a maze of narrow streets and workshops. It’s always buzzing with the sound of work being done. Our shop is one of many, but we’ve been here long enough that people know the name. Powder coating is messy work, so the shop always has a bit of dust in the air and different colors on the floor. It’s not the kind of place you come to if you’re wearing your best clothes. We are practical people. We take the items, prep them, and get the coating done. The heat from the ovens makes it pretty warm in here, especially during the summer months. We drink a lot of water and keep the fans going. It’s hard work, but there’s a certain satisfaction in seeing a rusty piece of metal come out looking brand new and colorful. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just find us by word of mouth or by wandering down Gali No-4. It’s a tight-knit community here in Anand Parbat. We know the tea stall guy and the other workshop owners. It’s just how things are done in this part of town. We just keep the ovens hot and the sprayers moving until the sun goes down.
