Stray Strong Foundation

We’re over here at Lawrence Road, right in the Keshavpuram industrial area. It's a busy spot, mostly DDA flats and small units everywhere you look. Honestly, it gets pretty loud around here during the day with all the traffic and people moving stuff. We started Stray Strong Foundation because there were just too many animals running around with nobody looking out for them. Most days you’ll find us on the first floor of Block A, probably cleaning something or sorting through supplies. It isn't a fancy office at all. The floor is old and we keep the window cracked for some air, even when it’s dusty outside. People from the neighborhood drop by sometimes to tell us about a dog down the street or just to see what we're doing. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who actually live close by. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, especially when the rain hits and the stairs get muddy. We’ve been in this flat, 99B, for a while now. It serves its purpose, I guess. You learn to live with the noise from the industrial side of things. We just try to get through the daily tasks without making too much of a fuss. If you’re ever around Lawrence Road, you’ve probably seen us around. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just making things a bit better right here where we live. It’s hard work, and my back usually hurts by five.
