Our spot is at Q - 21a in Model Town Part 1. It’s a bit different being here compared to the heavy industrial zones because Model Town has its own residential feel mixed in. You’ll find us in a building that’s seen its fair share of seasons. There’s a bit of a routine we’ve fallen into over the years. We open up early, usually before the traffic really starts to clog the main roads nearby. Since we deal with medical devices, there’s always a bit of a serious atmosphere, but we keep it casual among the staff. There are about ten of us on a regular day, sitting at desks that have been here as long as I can remember. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the filing cabinets are overflowing with old records. We don’t really do much in the way of fancy meetings. Most decisions happen over a quick chat in the hallway or near the water cooler. Sometimes the internet goes down, and everyone complains for a bit until it comes back. It’s a practical space. We have visitors coming in and out, mostly distributors or people looking for specific supplies. We try to keep the entrance clear, but there’s always a delivery bike or two parked right in the way. It’s just how things go around here. We’re just a local business trying to keep things moving. We close up once the last task is done.
