Standard Sunrise Foundation

You can find us on the top floor of L-79 in Lajpat Nagar-2. We are pretty close to the Nirankari Ashram, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find the building. Being on the top floor means we have to walk up several flights of stairs, so it is a bit of a workout every morning before we start. The office for Standard Sunrise Foundation is bright because we get a lot of sunlight up here. We have a few desks pushed together and some old filing cabinets that have seen better days. It gets a bit warm in the summer since we are right under the roof, but we have a cooler that helps keep things comfortable. From the windows, you can see the rooftops of other buildings in Lajpat Nagar. We spend our days answering emails and organizing our schedules. It is a quiet place to work compared to the street level down below. We have a small area for making coffee and tea, which we do quite often to keep our energy up. The stairs can be a bit much for some people, so we try to do as much as we can over the phone or by meeting people halfway. We have been here for a while and the landlord is a nice person. We do not have a lot of bells and whistles. It is just a honest workspace.
