J-12 in Sector 12 is where we set up. Noida has changed so much since we first started here. It used to be much quieter, but now it’s all buildings and traffic. Our place is pretty straightforward. We don’t have any of those glass walls or shiny lobbies you see in the newer sectors. It’s a solid building and we’ve made ourselves at home. We deal with the electronics side of things, mostly micro-components and such. The staff here has been together for a while, so we don’t need to explain much to each other anymore. We just get to work. Sometimes the rain floods the road a little bit outside, but we’ve learned to deal with it. We keep our stock on the higher shelves just in case. It’s a practical way of working. No one here wears a suit. We just wear what’s comfortable for moving boxes and testing parts. We have a small pantry where we make our own tea. Most of our day is spent checking lists and making sure the right parts go to the right people. It’s not the most exciting job in the world, but it’s ours and we take it seriously enough. We like being in Sector 12 because it’s easy for the delivery trucks to find us. It’s a good spot for what we do. We plan to stay here for as long as they let us.
