Harjas Auto Industries is based in Vishwas Nagar, which is a part of Shahdara. You can find us at No. 4/78. This area is known for all the small factories and workshops, so we fit right in with the rest of the businesses. We make various auto parts here. It’s noisy and there is always the smell of metal and oil in the air, which we’ve gotten used to. We’ve been doing this for many years now. It started out as a very small operation with just a couple of old machines. Over time, we’ve added a bit more equipment, but we still feel like a local workshop. The guys working here have been with us for a long time, so they know the routine and the machines well. We don’t have a fancy website or a sales team. Usually, our customers are other local businesses that need specific parts for their own work. Sometimes the raw materials are hard to get or the prices go up without warning, which makes things difficult for us, but we keep going regardless. It’s a tough business, but it’s what we know how to do. The streets in Vishwas Nagar are narrow and can get blocked up easily with trucks, so getting stuff in and out takes some real patience. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to produce parts that do their job properly every single day.
