Spice

Our workplace for Spice is a house in Janakpuri, specifically C6B/167. It’s a residential neighborhood in Delhi, so it feels a lot different than being in a big commercial office block. You hear the vegetable sellers calling out in the morning and the sound of kids playing nearby after school. It’s a comfortable way to work, even if the space is a bit cramped with all our stuff. We’ve set up our desks in a way that makes sense for us, even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. Delhi summers are tough, but we have our coolers running all day to keep the heat away. We don’t have a big sign out front or anything like that. Most people around here just know us as the people who are always busy inside that house. We handle our daily business without much fanfare. We don't use big words or have complicated rules. We just show up every morning and get started on whatever is on the list for that day. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, and the wiring is a bit old, but it’s home for us. We like the quiet of this street compared to the main roads. It’s just a normal bunch of people working out of a normal Delhi home, trying to keep things moving forward. It works for what we need and we like the neighborhood.
