Sound For Life Foundation

Sound For Life Foundation is based out of B-164-A in Jawahar Park. It’s right on the ground floor, which is pretty handy because we get a lot of people just stopping by to see what we're up to. Khanpur is a crowded part of North East Delhi, so there’s always something happening outside our window. We set this place up because we wanted to be right in the middle of the community. It’s not a shiny new building or anything like that. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint and the desk in the corner is a bit wobbly, but it serves its purpose. We spend our days dealing with whatever comes through the door. Some days it’s quiet and we just catch up on things, and other days it feels like everyone in Delhi is trying to talk to us at once. We don't have a big marketing team or anything. Actually, we don't have a marketing team at all. It’s just us. We focus on the daily tasks and trying to keep the foundation running without too many hiccups. Being in Jawahar Park feels right for us. It’s a real neighborhood with real problems and real people. We try to be a part of that, not just some name on a piece of paper. If you're looking for us, look for the ground floor unit near the corner. We’re usually there unless we’re out running errands for a project.
