Our location is right on Pusa Road in the Karol Bagh area of Delhi. If you know Delhi, you know that this stretch of road is always packed with people and cars, especially with the metro running right nearby. It is a very busy place to be, and there is a lot of energy around us all the time. Our building is one of the many tucked into this busy street, and we have been here for quite some time now. Inside, the rooms are filled with chairs and desks, and the hallways are usually echoing with the sounds of people talking or footsteps on the tiles. It is not a quiet or secluded spot, but that is just the nature of being in Karol Bagh. We have some old wooden furniture and some notice boards that have been there for years, pinned with all sorts of papers and schedules. The air conditioning hums in the background to keep out the Delhi heat, but you can still hear the honking from the street below. We get a lot of people coming in and out throughout the day, so the floors stay a bit dusty no matter how much we sweep. It is a practical, functional space meant for learning and working, without any unnecessary decorations. We have a small corner for making tea, which is where most of us end up during the afternoon slump. It is a typical Delhi institution, cramped and busy but full of life every single day.
