Sir G.D. Khattar'S Pitman Shorthand College

You will find us at 9 Gopal Nagar, right near Jail Road and the Tilak Nagar Metro Station in New Delhi. It is a busy part of the city, but our college is a steady spot for anyone wanting to learn Pitman shorthand. Sir G.D. Khattar started this place a long time ago, and we have kept it going ever since then. Shorthand might seem like an old skill with all the new technology, but it is still very much needed for court work and government jobs. We have simple classrooms where students sit and practice their strokes for hours. You can hear the scratching of pencils if you walk past the rooms. It is not a fancy building with glass windows or modern art. We have old-fashioned desks and big boards for demonstrations. Most of our students come by the metro because the station is just a short walk away. It makes life easier for them. We do not have a big team of people. It is just a few of us who know the system well. We help people get their speed up so they can pass their exams.
