Sindhu Ghati Foundation

The office for Sindhu Ghati Foundation is tucked away in Shaheen Bagh, specifically at Abul Fazal Enclave II. The address is a bit of a mouthful with the KH-400 and FPL-0122 numbers, but once you get here, it’s easy to spot. It’s a lively part of Delhi, and there is always something going on right outside our door. We’re on the ground floor, which is good because we don't have to deal with the stairs when we're carrying boxes. Inside, it’s a bit cramped because we have so many papers and books stacked up against the walls. We don’t have a fancy air conditioner, just a cooler that makes a lot of noise during the summer months. Most of the staff are just local people who live a few streets over. We drink a lot of tea and spend a lot of time talking about how to get things done with the little we have. It’s not a polished environment by any means. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint and the front door squeaks every time someone walks in. But we like it here in Shaheen Bagh. It feels real. We don’t have a big budget for advertising, so we just rely on people knowing us from being around the area. If you’re looking for us, just head toward the Enclave and look for the small sign near the gate.
